Sehwag misunderstands ‘Voter’ as ‘Welder’ while he tries to take a jab at IK
- Virender Sehwag just got himself into trouble by calling Prime Minister Imran Khan a ‘Welder’ after seeing a clip of an American TV anchor calling PM Khan a word that sounded like it.
- It seems that Virender Sehwag has some kind of hearing problem or maybe he just cannot decipher an American accent.
- One of Sehwag’s fellow Indian cricketers, Saurav Ganguly also seemed to agree with him and we guess both players are suffering from severe hearing loss and the Indian government may need to provide some special care to their retired cricketers.
A disparaging tweet about a television interview of Prime Minister Imran Khan earned former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag scathing embarrassment on social media with poking fun at him for his English language skills.
Prime Minister Imran Khan was being interviewed by Joe Scarborough, a popular cable TV anchor in the US.
When he complained about the US roads being bumpy and infrastructure not being up to the mark, the TV anchor said:
‘You don’t sound like the Prime Minister of Pakistan right now; you sound like a voter from the Bronx.’
Sharing the same interview clip on his Twitter account, Virender Sehwag wrote:
You sound like a welder from the Bronx, says the anchor.
After the pathetic speech in the UN a few days ago , this man seems to be inventing new ways to humiliate himself. pic.twitter.com/vOE4nWhKXI

Seems like Sehwag can’t decipher an American accent! Another Indian Cricketer, Saurav Ganguly, seemed to agree with him and maybe both players are suffering from severe hearing loss.
Viru .. I see this and I am shocked ..a speech which is unheard of .. a world which needs peace ,pakistan as a country needs it the most .. and the leader speaks such rubbish ..not the Imran khan the cricketer world knew ..speech in UN was poor ..

People couldn’t handle the stupidity of Virender Sehwag, saying that the cricketers of Modi’s country are made to write fake news against Pakistan.
Here is the response from the Focal Person to Prime Minister on Digital Media:
This is Modi’s India where cricketers are made to write fake news against Pakistan. The anchor said ‘voter’ but @virendersehwag saying ‘welder’ just to fit in with the propagandists. https://t.co/87kHQ97eQt

Ushna Shah could not stop herself from ripping Sehwag a new one!
I don’t watch cricket but I’m guessing you’re one of the stupid cricketers.

Even INDIANS couldn’t help but troll the utter stupidity of Sehwag’s tweet and defended PM Imran Khan for being a better cricketer than Sehwag.
He clearly said ‘voter’, not welder. Voters in the Bronx have had long-standing problems with their infrastructure.
Not sure how any of that is embarrassing for Imran. https://t.co/KY21BIyMQS

Whatever you say none of you can match his skills as a player. Then on politics you dont have the credentials to take him head on. He is a sensible leader. Period.

Sehwag’s tweet triggered a massive backlash on social media and this became so intense that the American anchor Joe Scarborough himself took to Twitter to clarify what he had said.
What in the world are you even talking about? As I tweeted earlier, I said “voter” from the Bronx. https://t.co/SI1DAJZ90Q
— Joe Scarborough (@JoeNBC) October 3, 2019
This shows that Indians have trouble understanding the American accent as the anchor said ‘Voter’ but they took it as ‘Welder’.
It is funny how an Indian is trolling Oxford graduate Pakistani Prime Minister and seriously, Indians turning voter into welder is one of the most hilarious things of 2019.
